Company History Patrick J. Burke and Co. was started in 1984 by Pat Burke with a staff consisting of himself and a shared secretary out of an office on Grandin Road. The firm continued to grow and the Patrick J. was dropped from the name and the firm was known as Burke & Co. In 1995 Pat hired Gene Schindler to open and operate an office in Northern Kentucky and was immediately successful adding numerous Northern Kentucky businesses and residents as clients. In the late 90’s Burke & Co. had outgrown its space on Grandin Rd and Pat began looking for a new office. An abandoned 1900’s fire house in front of the Adam Place Condominiums caught Pat’s eye and that weekend before going out to dinner with his wife and friends Pat made a quick detour and stopped in front of the Firehouse. Pat got down on one knee and asked his wife, Mary Jo, if he could buy the building and if she would help him restore it. She accepted and in 1999 the renovations were complete on the Firehouse. Shortly after moving into the Firehouse Pat named Gene Schindler as a partner and Burke & Co. became Burke & Schindler. Burke & Schindler is devoted to building strong business relationships with their clients by delivering high quality services that yield superior results. As professionals we pride ourselves on our responsiveness, commitment, and expertise. We are committed to our clients and thrive on helping them succeed and maximizing wealth building opportunities. |
