John Borchers Staff Accountant

John is a Staff Accountant who joined Burke CPAs & Advisors in 2024. He provides audit and accounting services to his clients.

John has over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, marketing, and sales.  He was previously employed at DuBois Chemicals, Inc., DuBois Chemicals of Canada, SimpliCool Technologies International, and SolerCool Technologies. He has held multiple executive-level positions throughout his career, and is also a patent holder in both the US and India of a solar-powered refrigerated storage system designed to support farming in third-world countries. John holds a BA in Accounting from Thomas More University and an MBA, Marketing from Xavier University.

A proud veteran of the US Army, John currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Julie. They share six children and nine grandchildren. He has also served as an Accounting and Marketing instructor at Miami University.  A retired long-distance runner who completed 25 marathons, John enjoys golf and gardening in his spare time.
