Melanie Vaughn Bookkeeper

Melanie has been a Bookkeeper at Burke CPAs & Advisors since October 2024.

She brings a diverse background in financial administration and business operations, including roles with Wayne County Government as Chief Deputy/Bookkeeper for the Clerk of Courts, extensive experience at Miami University in various administrative and accounting positions, and 25 years of hands-on experience managing the financial and administrative operations of a small business.

The Miami University graduate earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies with a focus on Business Administration and Organizational Leadership (Magna Cum Laude, 2017) and holds an Associate Degree in Business (Summa Cum Laude, 2014).

Melanie resides in Richmond, Indiana with her husband Gary. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, planning vacations and relaxing with a good book.
